Busier Than Christmas!

Hello everyone! I am so excited that CPO has let us access our own blog! I have been waiting for this moment for a very long time. Now, to introduce myself…

My name is Stephanie. I am a moderator with CPO, and I have been on the site for pretty close to three years now! I have two beautiful girls. Madison is almost two, and Brooklyn is five months old. I have a very patient and most wonderful boyfriend named Daniel. Then there’s Rory, our Mini Dachshund, and Lexi, our beautiful orange tabby cat. I have to say I feel a little sorry for Daniel. He is the only male in our house!

Well, this week is the calm before the storm. Thursday I have my pampering session with Mary Kay. I’m not really sure what to expect, but I’m hoping it’ll prep me for the next few weeks to come! Friday we have Telus coming to install some free cable. It’s the only reason we decided to get cable. That’s if they show.. We then have two baby showers, three birthdays (including Madisons on the 17th, and mine on the 29th!!) and a few fairs and agriculture shows to go to. I’m planning one of the baby showers for my best friend, so I’m trying to make it as special as possible. I also have a couple good friends moving in the middle of the month, so I’m hoping I can help if they need it. I love love love being busy, but I’m hoping it doesn’t get too much more expensive.. Phew!

I’m super excited to buy the toddler bed for Madison. It’s a beautiful black wooden bed, and I’m hoping she’ll be okay with it. I’m a little worried, as we plan on taking away her bubba once we make the switch, but maybe that should be put on hold until she gets comfortable with the bed. We’re nearing the 6 month mark for Brooklyn to be moved out of our bed. On one hand, I’m really excited because it means we get our bed back, but on the other hand, this is our last baby… I’ll never get to co-sleep again! :(

I’m in the middle of trying to sell things in our house we don’t need anymore. I have to say it’s a little scary meeting some people. We tried to sell the Xbox to someone. Of course, I got a bad feeling about it but decided to go by myself anyways. Anyways, I get there, leave my cell phone connected to Daniel, and I get out of the car.. I didn’t go more than a foot away from the car just in case. I hand the really weird guy with no fingers the bag, and he kept looking up the street.. He looked at me and told me that since I was so early (I was an hour and a half late!!) he didn’t have all the money. I was getting even more scared so I told him to give me whatever he had. He handed me a twenty and a dollar. I just got into the car and drove off. He gave me a ripped twenty with one staple holding it together!! How rude! Needless to say, if I  get a bad feeling about it, I’ll walk away!

I should probably get to the laundry. I have four, yes FOUR huge baskets of laundry waiting to be put away… *sobs*

Oh! A huge thank-you to CPO! YAY for my blog!!!
