I am really enjoying your blog. Thank you for sharing… as a mom of a child with Aspergers I know the struggles and the joys. Going to a place like Canada’s Wonderland takes a bit of planning but it can be done and it is so much fun for the kids.

I love the photos of the sensory room - we haven’t done this with our son but we have one in our town. I should find out if our son could go. I think he would benefit from this.

I am looking forward to reading more about you and your family.

    Helen!

thank you so much! and congrats on having such a special son!

the sensory room is a joy to behold! i took a video of it too, which you can find at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyzFOQTrOJA

in the past three years i’ve learned to embrace what we have in our lives. i work with kids with special needs and i know first-hand how uch worse things could be.

wonderland is liam’s favourite place on earth. he is a sensory seeker and loves every second of being there. i just found out this morning that a close family friend is going to buy us both passes for the rest of the season! i am shocked and grateful! he can’t wait to go again!

thanks again for the kind comment!
