Canada Day Fireworks 2008, Edmonton, Alberta.
Trying to decide which Fireworks to go to always seems like such a dilemma every July 1st at our house. We live in Millwoods and usually end up heading up on the roof to watch the fireworks at Millwoods Park, which is only a block away. This year the problem was that I had just started a Canadian Dad Blog and wanted to record video of the fireworks for my site.
This left us with a few options. We could either head to the roof like previous years, walk over to the Millwoods fireworksto get a better view of the light show or lastly we could head downtownto record the big City of Edmonton Canada Day celebrations. While as 11:00pm approached we settled for hustling the kids up to the local show.
It started off a little slow but turned into quite a spectacle. We got a great seat at the top of the hill where we enjoyed the Canada Day lights. I was hoping to stream the video live on my blog but couldn’t find an internet connection to stream off of. We did however get lucky enough to record the video and upload it from home later.
