Okay it is not like a typical day here is crazy but the past week has been TOTALLY INSANE.
First we have a 7th child - yes my hubby is home for a few weeks. Normally he lives outside of the Province due to his work (he runs a company out west) but comes home every now and then. We all love when he comes home but the schedule does get a bit wacky. What has added to the confusion is that my oldest daughter has had rehersals for the past 6 weeks and then dress rehersals everyday this week, for a musical she is in - Okay now I will brag Yes she has a leading role. Tonight was opening night and what a treat! The show was great and there are performances Friday and Saturday night as well. However, let us not forget the other 5 - between rehersals my aspie and devil in disguise (9 & 6 year old) have Tae Kwon Doe 3 times a week, and had to be at every practice because they have a tournament on Sunday - yes on Mothers Day. Add in my 5 year old dd running into a pole in her school yard, my 3 year olds Mother day tea at his nursery school today, my 2 year old who has become completely mommy oriented and screams when I am not near him, and my sister being hit by a drunk driver on her way to work this morning - her car is toast, she was hurt but will be okay. WOW! what a crazy week and ha, ha it still isn’t over yet. Now thank godness the dh is home this week because at least I had him to watch the two little ones between his meetings, and convention. Besides my backyard is starting to look great, he has a good touch with that kind of thing.
So Mothers Day will be the Tae Kwon Doe tournament, my 6 year olds 7th birthday and me hopefully crashing in bed for an early night!
