A family in Progress

As Myles popped into bed with us at 6:30 this morning….all I could think was boy I am getting too old for late nights and early mornings! I was TIRED!!

But really, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Titia, Lori, Shelley and myself finally had the opportunity to meet Cara as she was in town representing CPO at a baby/toddler show.

Because Lori, Shelley, Titia and myself have all been able to spend time together in the past and get to know each other very well - we can sometimes be a lil rowdy!!

I’m so not sure Cara knew what she was getting herself into when she agreed to meet up with us…LOL!

Yesterday was all about mad dashes - getting out of work, picking up Myles, getting ready, picking up Lori, dropping off Myles and Titia’s DD at Shelley’s place, picking up Shelley and finally meeting Cara at the Lonestar Cafe (the same one Gord and I tried to find with no luck the day of the car show, only to find out it was right beside a spot we turned around at…..duhhh)

Cara had called to let us know she was at the restaurant and was going to get a table. Once we got into the front lobby, Titia was searching around the seating to see if she could find her. Only to discover that when Cara turned around……she was RIGHT BESIDE Titia!!! LOL!

After a few drinks and yummy appetizers (thanks CPO!!!) the conversation seemed to really start rolling. Perhaps it was the alcohol, or Cara realizing she possibly couldn’t make a bigger fool out of herself then we do!! LOL!!

Dinner was great, lots of laugh, lots of conversation…..and a down right good time.

Cara it was a pleasure to meet you….and I hope we didn’t scare you too badly!!! You were exactally what I had expected….and I didn’t anticipate anything but good!!

Now, I must run…as I’m off for a relaxing pedicure….
