A family in Progress

As I sat here tonight, trying to decide what to blog about….DS was happily going on about Maca Paca and Opsie Daisy….all that kept rolling through my mind is how much I hate this show.

I’m sure many of you with toddlers have your TV locked into Treehouse and by now have seen the show *In the Night Garden*. From what I understand this show was created by the genius minds of those who came up with the Boobahs and Teletubbies….and is meant to wind children down before bed time.

Soooo…..Myles knows that after this show is over, it’s bedtime…..but I don’t think it winds him down in the least (as he is currently jumping up and down in front of the TV talking to the Ponkie Pines (or whatever they are).

Gord is always telling me *If you hate it so much, turn the channel* (he isn’t a fan either). I simply reply, just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean Myles shouldn’t watch it. I mean I really don’t think Myles cares that it has no plot, no storyline, no educational value and really doesn’t even make much sense. And why is it that every night Iggle Giggle is the one who isn’t in bed……really you think he would have gotten it by now…..???

Anywho…..so as this show winds down and it nears Myles bedtime…..I leave you with one last thought….Just what is a *Pinkey Ponk???*
