A friend of ours makes them all the time, the only downfall is that you don't get any dripping for homemade gravy and that's my favourite part. Now I often freeze an icecream bucket of it so when we get invited I bring the gravy for everyone! One thing our friend also does is inject the turkey with a marinade. So yummy! That dessert looks amazing, I think I have most of the ingredients I may try it this weekend too! I love Deep-fried turkey!
