Myself and our kitty Scout

Hello all! My name is Kelly, but many of you may know me by my cpo name “miscouchemommy”.  I was born and raised in PEI and now reside in a little community just 10 minutes from the city.  I met my hubby 10 years ago and we have been married now for almost 7 years.  We have 3 children: Braeden, Grace and Gabrielle.  Winters are usually long on PEI, but when summer arrives we LIVE at the beach. Our favorite spot is Chelton Beach in Bedeque. I have been going there for as long as I can remember.  We use to spend summers at my grandmother’s cottage, but she has since passed away and her cottage was sold.  My parents purchased some land a few years ago and this year they built a new cottage. We are all so excited for them and can’t wait until the warm weather hits!!

Both my husband and I work full-time outside the home, so needless to say, things can get pretty hectic around here.   He volunteers for the local fire department and teaches first aid.  The kids aren’t too busy with extra-curricular activities.  Braeden is involved in the drama club at school and Grace just started playing soccer last year.   I volunteer in our church as a sunday school teacher and help out with the nursery and property committee.  The kids attend groups at our church during the week.  Weekends are ususally spent with family or friends and Sunday is our family day together.

Well, that pretty much covers it.  We are pretty laid back and try to take each day as it comes.  I hope you’ll enjoy reading about me and my family as we venture through this thing called “LIFE”.
