Welcome to Spud Island

That’s all I’ve been hearing lately.  Gabby’s vocabulary has taken off in the last few months.  I can actually understand her at times.  Most of it is gibberish, but there are more and more actual words coming out.  She refers to me as “mahee” because she has not yet mastered the word “mommy”.  Yesterday she wanted some pink lemonade and kept saying “pink mahee, I want pink!”  If she hurts herself, she will point to the area and say “hurt!”  She even tells me when she’s pooped by saying “I poopie”.  Of course everything has been “wook, wook mahee” as she points frantically to some object in the room.  She can pronounce both her sister and brother’s names.  Grace for the longest time referred to braeden as “daya” when she was little.  It so much easier when they start to talk and you know what they actually want.
