Welcome to Spud Island

As soon as I seen the sun, I thought “I am hitting the beach!”  With only a few days left of my vacation, it’s nice to finally see the sun.  After a hectic morning of running errands, I came home, packed the car and headed for the beach.  A friend of mine came along with her two boys.  It was nice to chat with another adult while the kids played.  It was a little windy,  but the water was warm.  The beach is on the south side, so the water is like bath water compared to the north side of the island.  Aside from the wind and the fact I stepped barefoot in dog poo (barf!!), we had a great afternoon.  Here are a few pics of our afternoon.
