What a crappy week for a vacation.  This weather absolutely sucks and if I stay in the house another day, I think I will lose my mind!  My friend called me this morning…she is home from Calgary.  We are taking the girls swimming tonight at the Credit Union Place.  It’s also Pizza night, so everyone gets free pizza with admission.  Hubby will like that!  Tomorrow, hubby is back to work, so I think I will hang out with my friend again.  She  has two daughters and they get along well with my two.  My cousin is also home from Toronto, so hopefully I can get together with her in the next day or so.  Thankfully my vacation time is dragging by.  I just wish I had better weather!

Raf left around 2:30 am this morning to take Braeden to the airport in Halifax.  He is going to spend two weeks with his bio dad in edmonton.  I don’t think I slept two hours after they left.  My stomach is in knots and my nerves are shot.  I’m such a worrywort!  My son on the other hand was up all night.  He was so excited about this trip and I am happy for him.  I know he will have a great time.

Braeden has had quite the summer.  He spent a week in New York at the Word of Life camp and now a trip to Edmonton.  I’ve always wanted to visit Alberta.  My best friend lives in Calgary, so maybe someday I will get out for a visit.

I just called hubby on his cell phone and Braeden got along ok…he is on his way!  Now I just have to worry about Hubby until he gets home.
