Money rant.

Hey all,

Just thought id login and talk a little.  Yeah, I got our first hydro bill since putting in a new hottub in April.  I almost sh!t my pants!!  It was like $250.00!!!  At first I thought maybe they hadnt received last bills money,  no, it’s just that expensive too run.  Luckily I havent turned on the a/c except on really hot days.  I honestly hate that thing.  Your suppose to relax in those things, but I cant cause Im thinking how much this stupid thing is costing us…  Anyways, new topic.

Tomorrow is the fair.  My kiddies are looking so forward to it.  Dont know how Im gonna afford it, but I’ll find a way, I always do.  I wish I could budget our money better, I wish someone had taught me how.  I was thinking about getting a job on weekends at night.  Thinking a retirement home or something along that line.  I always said I could never work with the elderly but I guess you’ll do anything when you need the money….Really, hub makes over 70k a year, why cant we have money???  What am I doing so wrong!!!

Im gonna end this post now, since all I have on the brain is money, and nobody wants too hear about other ppl’s money problems.

 Thanks for reading my blog.

YIKES! I would have never even thought about the extra cost of heating a hot tub. I guess this is why my dad refuses to put a heater in his pool?! As for budgeting it’s never too late. DH and I read the book The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach and it really helped to get us on track. We read it at the same time and would discuss each chapter after the other read it. Another really helpful book was Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover. He also has a Podcast you can listen to as well. Just do a search for him on iTunes it’s free!
