Surviving

Well my kid-less night didn’t work out as planned. I got a call at 1:45 saying that Seth was getting really sick and Gramma wanted to bring him home. So I was up most the night trying to cuddle/sleep with a coughing kid all night. He slept well (it must be a kid thing to cough that much and still be able to sleep). Saturday neither MIL or I had much sleep so we roughed through Saturday together. I was able to get in a 2 hour nap during the afternoon with the kids though. That was nice. I took all three kids home for the night which again was very restless since all three kids were sick. But fortunatly FIL had Sunday off so all three kids off to MIL/FIL’s for the Day! I napped, cleaned and did more homework.

Monday was back to work for me and back to daycare for the kids. Nothing interesting.

Tuesday again nothing interesting

Wednesday woke up with a migraine so had a friend come over and help me with the kids until it was time for daycare. By the time I got home from getting the kids to daycare I tought I was going to puke so I called in sick. Ended up passing out on the couch from 8:15am-12:45pm. Completly dead to the world (I didn’t even hear the phone ringing beside my head).

Thursday, back to work for me. I felt much better! Gramma had Caleb and Seth for the evening. Orrigionally it was just going to be seth overnight. But when I got home I took Caleb out of the car and leaned in to grab Hunter. As soon as I got back out of the car theres caleb walking down the side yard. I ask him where he’s going “Gamma’s”
“why not come in for some milk”
“no…seth…Gamma’s” and off he’s walking in the direction on MIL’s saying “Gamma’s Gamma’s Gamma’s” So I follow about 4 feet behind him and he actually leads me right to Gamma’s. She says she take both for the night. I get a call at 7 saying Nana has a fever and may end up going into the hospital tonight so she wanted to bring the twins home in case she needed to take Nana to the hospital. Everyone is in bed. I’m writing quickly while Brad showers. Then off to bed. So it may not seem that interesting. But we’re alive and that’s an accomplishment for us.
