The Maplelea Girls have a new friend! Meet Léonie Bélanger from Quebec City. She plays guitar and the flute. She enjoys painting and snowboarding but her true love is Hockey where she plays in the Atom division at her local arena. She is 10 years old, has twin sisters and you can read more about Léonie in the journal that comes with her!
The Maplelea Girls line of dolls are an inspiration to and a reflection of Canadian girls from coast to coast. With realistic body types, trendy but appropriate clothing and accessories, this line of dolls supports the “real” messages so many of us are trying to send to our young girls. www.maplelea.com
What Canadian Parents are saying…
Maplelea Girls is all about quality and Canada! From the box the girl comes in, to the details on the girls’ faces, the clothing and the accessories, your young daughter will be impressed and delighted. The journal is filled with stories and information that will grow your daughter’s understanding about this great country we live in. Each doll has a personality of its own and a history and heritage too! These dolls are to be played with and are destined to become heirlooms someday. — Helen
Tips & Tricks worth mentioning…
If you really want this doll to be played with, get the bed and side table (and even the wardrobe). They become a fixture in your child’s room and make playing with the doll a daily occurrence. The furniture is made from wood and can be tucked away with the doll when she outgrows her. That, of course, will not be for a long time. Our daughter is 12 going on 13 and she still loves her doll.
