Monday night, Corey and I were standing outside of our building at the front doors at about 9:30 when we noticed 3 people getting out of our van.

Since we moved into this place we have had problems with people breaking into our vehicles and have had quite a few things stolen from us. Other people who park in our parking lot have also had problems with theft. Now just last month my wallet (which must have fallen out of my purse) was stolen from the van and my ID was thrown up and down the street. Luckily, I recovered it all but we were still feeling pretty violated by that incedent.

Anyways, when we realised what was happening Corey took chase and ended up catching one of the guys. The other 2 got away around the back of the building but from what we have figured out the people doing this LIVE in our building.

Last night I noticed a suspicious guy walk along the fron of the building and then turn into the parking lot past our van. As he walked by he turned and looked at the van and then at me, and then continued walking to the back of the building to the otherside where he came from.

This seemed odd to me, so I convinved myself that the guy was checking out the van to try and steal it again. I stayed up until 3 watching the van!!!

Anyways, the break in was an attempted car theft and the steering column and ignition are mangled. Corey now has to start the van with a screwdriver and disconnect the battery to shut it off. It is not worth fixing at this point so Corey and I made a huge decision…

We are moving back to my parents house April 1st.

I wasn’t too thrilled about the idea at first but now I am seeing that this is probably the best move for us to make. It will give us an opportunity to finance a new car and pay off a good chunk of it before we are back on our own, and it will give us an opportunity to save again and possibly think about buying a house in the spring. It would also give me an opportunity to either get a part time job or go back to school and not have to worry about child care for Hayden of Lily.

I am pretty excited now. We are staying in the basement and the kids will still have to share a room. We are going to have to sleep in our ‘family room’ and I am sure it is going to be crowded but I know we can make it work.

We are still figuring out how long we are going to stay. My parents offered a year but we’ll see how I am after 6 months.

Hopefully this is going to be the year that everything works out for us, although so far it has not been the greatest year. Everyone cross your fingers!

Well it’s been a little over a month since I last posted in my blog. There has been a lot going on with me, and I am now just finally feeling like I am ready to tackle the world again.

For many years I have suffered from I believe to be anxiety…however my anxiety regarding doctors has always stood in the way of getting help. A few months ago I started having full blown panic attacks and as a result started isolating myself from the world. I felt too afraid to even drive to the store only 2 blocks away. Eventually, feeling so isolated and afraid I became extremely depressed.

I am still struggling with it, but doing much much better. I am taking a Vitamin B Complex that really seems to be helping. I figure that this combined with a healthy diet and exercise routine AND hopefully some meetings with a councellor and I will be as good as new.

Once things are stable, we are planning on making a move. We are in a 2 bedroom apartment right now and really need to get ourselves into a 3 bedroom or a much bigger 2 bedroom. We outgrew this apartment a looong time ago and I think that it contributes to my stress levels quite a bit.

Another option for us is to move in with my parents. They have a small home but they have been renovating the basement and have offered it to us. This could help us SOOOOOOOOO much. I would be able to go back to school or get a job because my Mom would be there to watch the kids. We could save money, or afford to buy a new vehicle. It would be great but part of me really doesn’t want to go back and live with them again and it kind of feels like a step backwards. It’s something that I really need to consider.

On the family front, things are going great. Hayden is learning new things everyday and suprising me with new things all the time. Lily is getting so big and finally growing some hair. I can’t wait until I can put her hair in a barrette! Corey is working hard as usual and recently began to draw again. He has plans to possibly get into tattooing once he brushes up on his skills.

There should be some exciting things heading our way this year. Hopefully THIS is the year that things happen for us. I have my fingers crossed and the positive energy flowing!
