Razberry or is it Razbaby?

4:00 pm August 6th, 2009

I just ordered the razberry teether and I sold 3 in one day.

My son is too old for this teether now and it’s a shame as I am sure he would have loved it.

When I go to the mall, I see babies using it instead of a teether.  One mom explained that she weaned her daughther off of her teether by using the Razberry.

Just curious as to what people think of it?

Personally, I would spend the extra money on a teether as it is something that a child always has in their mouth and I like to avoid chemicals and toxic product when it comes to my children.

Baby Banz - Do kids really need sunglasses?

9:30 pm June 30th, 2009

When I was growing up, you never saw a child or baby wearing sunglasses or even sun block!

It seems that today everywhere you turn, kids under 5 are not only wearing full bodied swimsuits, but also sunglasses.

Do they really need them or are we overreacting?  Is it just a fashion trend or are we really protecting them from the dangers of the ozone?

Bebeccino.com now has them for sale and they are selling like hot cakes.  I myself bought a pair for my son and he wears them when it’s sunny here in Montreal.

Baby Banz and Kidz Banz are, in my opinion, great and much needed.

Any comments?

Food for thought?

Sophie the giraffe and other teethers..

9:13 pm March 28th, 2009

I bought Sophie the giraffe for my son when he was 6 months old, before I started my online boutique.  I decided to order her to see if she would sell.

Despite the high cost, she is selling like crazy.  People love the fact that’s she’s non toxic, made in France and easy for kids to hold.

What do you think of Sophie?  Would you spend 20$ on a teether for your child?

I know that if I hear non toxic, I tend to be more willing to buy it.

It’s 10:30 on a Sarurday night and I am exhausted but I am forcing myself to stay awake until 11.  I want to prove that I can still stay up…who I am proving this to, I don’t know!!

As always, any comments that you have is greatly appreciated.

All the moms (and dads) out there are experts and their opinions matter.

to microwave or not to microwave

6:42 pm March 17th, 2009

Do you microwave breast milk or formula or do you heat it up in hot water?

I used to out the milk in a microwavable mug and heat it up, but now I am worried about it.

Isn’t it dangerous for the baby?

Also, people put the PBA free bottles in the microwave, I think that’s a big no-no…

What do you think?

Dex has a great Milk Storage system for moms who breastfeed.

Check it out…www.bebeccino.com.   Would like to hear what people have to say about it.

8 weeks to go…what to do with my toddler?

8:43 pm March 6th, 2009

So, I’m having  a schedules c-section at the end of April.  10 days later my older son turns 2.

I feel terrible that I’m leaving him for  a week.  Do I throw him a birthday party?

I feel so guilty about leaving him and then coming back with a baby.

Any thoughts on what to do about a birthday?

BTW, bebeccino.com will be getting Sophie the Giraffe, the best and safest teether around!

7 and a half months pregnant and starting to freak out!

2:27 pm February 19th, 2009

So here I am, trying to be a successful mom-preneur, with a 21 month old boy and another one on the way.

I am trying to figure out how to do it all.  How to not be neurotic or go crazy.

Any ideas?

My website is doing well, thanks to everyone who check the blog and check my site.

Baby bottles are selling and my question is do babies really get nipple confusion?

Should I introduce the bottle right away or not?

Any advice?

Stainless steel VS glass VS plastic bottles…what’s best???

12:56 pm January 26th, 2009

So, I’m gearing up for my next child and like all moms I’m more in the know on baby bottles.

I was so upset last year as I threw away all my expensive avent bottles in the garbage and bought more expensive bottles that contained no PBA chemicals.

Bebeccino.com sells both plastic and stainless bottles and they both seem great, but so does glass.  Does anyone have any comments or suggestions on glass?  I had heard that we had to beware which glass we bought as they could also be made of recycled glass and those bottles were not good.  Unfortunately, the glass bottles do not say if they are recycled or not.

Once again, it’s up to us, the consumer to do some investigating.

I think I’ll use the stainless steel ones for now and see how they go.

If you have a chance, check them out..www.bebeccino.com

Have a good day!

Super mom

9:11 am January 16th, 2009

How do moms do it?  How do they work full time, take care of the household and raise kids?

I sometimes think that it’s impossible to do all that and still sane.

Being 6 months pregnant and caring for my 20 month old is exhausting…I feel like a whale.

The business is picking up slowly…we now accept credit cards…check out the site www.bebeccino.com

I’d like to know how women stay sane…

Awaiting your comments.

ho ho ho…is it all about presents?

9:19 pm December 25th, 2008

My son loved Christmas this year.  He’s 19 months old and was able to say the present by 7AM this morning!

I’m not all about the gifts and commercialization of our holidays.  My husband and I bought Gabriel 3 gifts. I thought that was a lot, I was proud of myself, until I started listening to how many gifts other people were buying their kids.  I felt bad that I wasn’t buying him many gifts.  Was I a bad mother?  I thought about it for a while and then realised that I am instilling in him values and values don’t come with material things.  He was overjoyed with the wrapping and the boxes and paid little attention to the actual gifts.

The real gift was seeing the joy in his face.

He’s our raison d’etre and my life could not be more fullfilled!

There are days where you want to lock yourself in the bathroom and then there are days like today that make you burst with joy!

Happy Holidays to all

Bebeccino’s first blog on Canadian Parents - exciting!

10:50 am December 15th, 2008

My son is 19 months old and like all seasoned moms, I am now used to poop, vomit, baby spit and food thrown all over the place.

I am very excited about this blog, not only will I be able to tell you about my daily dos and donts, I’ll also be able to talk about bebeccino.com, my work of art!

I think that this blog will be good as I’ll be able to reach out to all moms going through the same trials and tribulation’s as  myself.

Please get back to me and tell me if:

You’ve never wanted to fling yourself from your balcony/top floor/ moving car

You’ve never wanted to throw your spouse from your balcony/top floor/moving car

You’ve never wanted to give your children away for free

If you have gasped and answered ‘Never’ to any of the of these questions, then my hat is off to you and I need your help :-))

For now, I will leave you and hope to talk to you again tomorrow.

Have a great day!
