cooking in heels
I love this age, it’s so cute to see Eslyn’s imagination at work. Her two favorite things in the world right now are dressing up and doing crafts. today she is a chef. She’s got on her apron, chef’s hat, a string of fake pearls and pink dress up shoes with heels. Too cute. She’ll happily spend an hour or so making dinner for her babies and feeding it to them. At this point she lives in her dress up clothes. Her two favorites are her princess dress (flower girl dress from SIL’s wedding) and any tutu she can get her hands on, of course you cannot wear a tutu without a set of wings or a crown, it’s what all the aspiring ballerina’s wear. Jusyt when I worry too much that my three year old wears heels better than I do or owns more jewlery than I have in my life and will turn out to be a fashion obsessed diva, she dons her red cape and sining the theme to wonder pets shouts “Eslyn to the rescue” and runs off to grab her fire truck to save a dolly from immenent danger. I think that’s what I love best about her being this age the switch from superhero to fashionista is seemless in her mind and is no big deal.
